MISS invites applications, on a rolling basis, for E-Internship for the following projects.
(i) Mapping Terror and Insurgent Networks
(ii) Regional Economic Cooperation and Connectivity in Asia
(iii) Women and Youth in Peace and Security
(iv) Organised Crime and Illicit Trafficking
(v) Fragility, Conflict and Peace Building
Application Procedure
The E-Internship is open to students with a Master’s degree. Students enrolled in the Master’s Programme are also eligible to apply for the E-Internship. This internship typically lasts for three months and may be extended based on performance and mutual interest. E-Interns will work as researchers on assigned projects and are expected to write at least two publishable articles during their internship period, which may be considered for publication on the MISS website.
The schedule under E-Internship is flexible and provides an opportunity to work with Mantraya’s team of Experts and Advisers. We invite researchers and students to avail themselves of this opportunity. We strongly encourage those interested in primary and field research to contribute to this initiative.
To apply, send a formal letter addressed to the Director along with your bio-data, a passport-size high-resolution photograph (above 100 kb size), a writing sample of 500 words indicating your preference for any of the Projects, and a tentative date for joining the internship programme to mantrayaoffice@gmail.com and bibhuroutray@gmail.com
Since a large number of applications are received, we may not be able to respond to individual emails. However, short-listed candidates will be contacted within a week for further requirements, which include completion of assigned tasks and an online interview.
